The home audit

There is a particular feeling you get walking into a home that has been thought through. Every surface considered, every piece earned, every corner alive. Modern, but never cold. Layered, but never busy. The opposite of a magazine museum.

Most of the homes I am asked to reimagine are at different starting points. Some have beautiful foundations; others are still finding theirs. What changes everything is how the home comes together: the right textile, a considered lighting choice, a piece of art, a moment of restraint. This is what turns ‘expensive’ into ‘lived-in.’

I wrote this audit so you can find them yourself. It will take you about thirty minutes to walk through with your home in mind. By the end, you will know exactly which two or three rooms are asking for attention, and what to ask for.
